Ed has developed a diverse skill set in his 13-plus-year legal career, ranging from law to private equity to real estate. He has served as primary corporate legal counsel and head of operations for the last nine years in a range of companies, spanning the oil and gas industry, hospitality and real estate development. Unique in his qualifications is a fundamental business acumen alongside developed legal experience.

Ed’s early legal training was gained in the M&A and project finance groups at London-based Linklaters LLP. He acted in over $12 billion in equity and debt transactions, and worked in the firm’s New York, London, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo offices. Ed received his JD from Brooklyn Law School, MSc from London School of Economics, and BA from University of Southern California. Ed is a westerner at heart, however, originally hailing from New Mexico. He currently resides in East Nashville.
